Mango, why mango?

New Mexico, 6 pm of a sunny day in 1998.  Two soldiers find a spacecraft in the middle of the desert. It looks very dangerous, with unknown materials in the inside. They enter the spacecraft. They can't believe their eyes when they find an Arbre Magique. And at some point they smell it and ask "Mango, why mango?". In 2009 I took a trip to Antigua and I was astonished by the flavour of mangos and papayas grown over there. I thought it would have been fantastic to live there and grab a ripe mango directly from a tree, while a warm breeze is caressing my face. Mangos imported in Italy are not that good after all. I then started to collect information and found out that mango trees can also be grown in Italy, especially in Sicily and Calabria they are slowly replacing citrus cultivations. ...
